Legacy 450
The Embraer Legacy 450 is a very new mid-size business jet, still in development. The aircraft is a corporate/executive upgrade of the ERJ-135 and ERJ-145 commercial regional jetliners, typically seating 7 to 9 travelers. Embraer claims the Legacy 450 will have the largest cabin in its class, with a height, width, and length of 6 ft, 6 ft 10 in, and 22 ft 4 in, respectively. The aircraft will also have a great deal of baggage capacity, with 40 cubic ft inside-accessible in flight, and another 110 cubic ft of exterior storage. Maximum seating capacity for the 450 is 10 passengers, in a variety of available floor plans. Some aircraft may offer wireless high-speed internet, Airshow systems, DVD, telephone and fax capabilities, meeting tables, and individual workstations at some seats. The Legacy 450's planned maximum range is 2645 miles, and its top speed will be 522 mph. Two Honeywell - HTF 7500E engines will make these statistics possible, powering flights from Los Angeles to Boston or from Nassau in the Bahamas all the way to Alaska.
